Viking Heat Engines AS, (Viking), is proud to announce that we have entered into a Teaming Agreement with B/E Aerospace, Inc., (B/E), http://www.beaerospace.com/ and EthosGen LLC of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
The purpose of this Teaming Agreement is to make use of the CraftEngine developed by Viking, and a novel Heat Exchanger solution developed by B/E to capture and harness waste heat from industry and engines into electricity. B/E and their reputable Thermal Engineering Team, provides both the quality and the expertise required to target both Military and Key Industrial Customers, for such a promising combined product. EthosGen has established itself as a small Company pioneering innovative energy solutions to facilitate the use of renewable energy sources and increased efficiency in energy production.
The Teaming Agreement will allow for joint testing of the CraftEngine with exhaust gas and other waste- heat sources. Early Table Top analysis and modeling show a potential for fuel saving and enhanced efficiency for future customers of such combined systems.
We are very happy to join such competent, able and technologically driven partners, says Managing Director of Viking Heat Engines, John Bernander. We are confident that we will provide solutions for both Military and Civilian purposes that will prove to save fuel, and transform what is today waste into high value electricity.
The actual testing will start in October at a B/E Facility in America, and will run through a detailed test program with a duration of up to 18 months.
